Legacy.
As a three-year-old, I toddled around my home nestled in the Candlelight Forest neighborhood, one of the many wonderful areas to live in the Near Northwest. As I grew, I made some lasting childhood memories. Swinging from our tree swing in the front yard — as some of you may even remember — was an inviting spot for everyone to take a seat, and swing a while.
As a young boy, I built more memories planting a pecan tree with my dad in the backyard of my grandmother’s home. She lived just down the street from me – a home where my own young family now lives. We see the fruit of that tiny sapling each day, and it reminds me of the importance of leaving a legacy.
I am passionate about revitalization and upholding the integrity in our surrounding neighborhoods, and intend to cultivate a legacy of community, here, for our children and grandchildren. As my second year as President of the Greater Inwood Partnership, our voices have been made stronger. My board and I continue to advocate for Greater Inwood – a true gem in the City of Houston.
We are committed to investing into this Greater Inwood jewel we call home.
Please allow us share some pecans with you, as a reminder of our family legacy. (Mention this letter when you contact us.) What is the legacy you want to leave in Greater Inwood?
